Young & the Restless
What a smooth day we all had today! Mommy had to work a long day and so you both went to KidsPark to play!! It was the first time I left you somewhere.. and you both did so well!! Clare, you made a blue shark with glitter!! (and pooped all over the place! lol. poor thing. You came home in new clothes!) Grandma picked you up and served you lunch.. and after your nap.. you came to meet me at work! We went straight to your audition and you guys were amazing!!! Happy and engaging!! You said "Hello" to everyone that passed by! Quinn chose to go follow Camile first.. and I fixed your hair Clare.. and then it was Clare's turn! She came back and asked me all sorts of questions. Apparently you both (separately) told them you went to school.. and both thought your sister was in the room when you noticed the mirror! HOW FUNNY! Well, you have the opportunity to meet the actors on Monday that could potentially be your TV parents! I'm so excited for you guys! :) Fingers crossed.

Pamper my Sweet Peas
I wanted to do light pink of course.. but when you saw that I was going to do mine red... you just had to have it!! :) I had so much fun doing this with you guys. You were so careful as to where you set your hands down... you walked so slowly, admiring every move. It was a very special evening for me.

Grandma got us a season pass to Hurricane Harbor!
Hambooger
Quinn: "Look, a booger!"
Clare: (Proudly extending her pointer finger) "That's not a booger, it's a hambooger!"
Quinn: "A hambooger? Eat the hambooger??"
Mom: "NO! STOP!"
That reminds me of the day we were driving and I turned to notice something odd about the shape of Clare's nose. I realized that it was a cheerio! I flipped out and screamed for Sean to pull over. I just couldn't get a good enough grip on it! Thankfully, I had really sharp tweezers up front to yank out greys and misplaced strays at red lights... so I had Sean toss me those. "I got it!"I pose for this picture but Clare had other plans... EWWWW.. you can imagine what happened next! (gross!)
We are all healed mostly. We had our first ER trip last week. How traumatic for me personally. Clare was a champ. She introduced herself to everyone in the office, including the plant. She was jolly and
explained that she "fell down, rocking chair, hurt herself, see the doctor... doctor make it feel better" to anyone that would listen. They gave her Tylenol with codeine but it didn't make her relaxed or sleepy... just happy and hyper! (good to know!) She did really great once Quinn showed up for support. Mommy was brave and didn't cry once. Well, I choked up when he said stitches but she didn't notice!

April Fool's Babies
You girls. I found myself scolding you today, and holding in my laughter after I realized I threatened the most ridicules thing!
You've been climbing out of your crib lately Clare.. it's driving me batty. I hadn't assumed you could climb in. That is until the other day.
Dad told me that I needed to be firm and diligent.. waiting outside the door, listening for movement. It'd been days since you napped because I was not at all scaring you into nap mode. I was downstairs and heard the little pitter patters. I had already caught you both out twice now and I was prepping a snack for my listening duty. I headed upstairs with my reheated rice. I listened at the door but heard nothing! Swiftly I opened the door to find you both happy in your bed. Trying to cover my stupidity I said," I'm just checking on you!" It was at that moment that Quinn started whining for her crib! Sure enough... Quinn was in Clare's bed and vice versa! You guys nearly fooled me! I glanced back at Clare and sure enough.. happy as a clam.. even covered up with Quinn's blanket. (Clare has an obsession with Quinn's crib for some reason) Twice I switched you back after that, watching you guys launch yourself face forward over the rail! Me all the while yelling at you.. saying brilliant things... Here's where the laughter gets suppressed...
IF I HAVE TO COME IN HERE ONE MORE TIME... THERE WILL BE NOOOO MORE FUN!
What? Really? That's the best I could come up with?! Ugh. :)
