You girls. I found myself scolding you today, and holding in my laughter after I realized I threatened the most ridicules thing!
You've been climbing out of your crib lately Clare.. it's driving me batty. I hadn't assumed you could climb in. That is until the other day.
Dad told me that I needed to be firm and diligent.. waiting outside the door, listening for movement. It'd been days since you napped because I was not at all scaring you into nap mode. I was downstairs and heard the little pitter patters. I had already caught you both out twice now and I was prepping a snack for my listening duty. I headed upstairs with my reheated rice. I listened at the door but heard nothing! Swiftly I opened the door to find you both happy in your bed. Trying to cover my stupidity I said," I'm just checking on you!" It was at that moment that Quinn started whining for her crib! Sure enough... Quinn was in Clare's bed and vice versa! You guys nearly fooled me! I glanced back at Clare and sure enough.. happy as a clam.. even covered up with Quinn's blanket. (Clare has an obsession with Quinn's crib for some reason) Twice I switched you back after that, watching you guys launch yourself face forward over the rail! Me all the while yelling at you.. saying brilliant things... Here's where the laughter gets suppressed...
